My name is Tate. I’ve been fishing since I could walk, thanks to my pops. I started out chasing largemouth bass here in the local lakes/ponds of VA. I’ve always dabbled into saltwater fishing, my favorite time being when the striper runs were heavy in our local waters and hauling 40 plus fish in a trip was just another day. It wasn’t until I was around the age of nine where I completely converted to saltwater fishing. I fished from my stand-up paddle board, kayaks, and numerous boats that I’ve been brought up on.

After high school, the fire department caught my attention. I started as a volunteer, then got hired full-time, and instantly fell in love with the job. Serving the city I live and grew up in is truly a blessing, and firefighting has become one of my biggest passions.

Over the past 10 years, I’ve been able to get dialed in with working in the firehouse and spending my free time on the water with family and friends. That’s how FIN RED LINE SPORTFISHING was born: a brand that fuses my two passions and celebrates fishing the line between grit and glory.
