My name is Tate. I’ve been fishing since I could walk, thanks to my pops. I started out chasing largemouth bass in the local lakes and ponds of Virginia. Every now and then, I’d head out for some saltwater fishing, my favorite time was during the striper runs, when hauling in 40+ fish on a single trip was just another day.

By the time I was nine, I had fully converted to saltwater fishing. I’ve fished from paddleboards, kayaks, and countless boats I’ve grown up on. After high school, the fire department caught my attention. I started as a volunteer, eventually got hired full-time, and instantly fell in love with the job. Serving the city I grew up in is truly a blessing, and firefighting has become one of my greatest passions.

Over the past ten years, I’ve found the perfect balance: working in the firehouse and spending my free time on the water with family and friends. That’s how FIN RED LINE SPORTFISHING was born. A brand that fuses my two passions and celebrates fishing the line between grit and glory.
